I hope this finds you and your family in good health. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. 

You should be familiar with the fact that infection control has always been a top priority for Dragonfly Massage. As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help us to support all our clients by cooperating with our new requirements.

Dragonfly Massage is following the guidelines provided by the State of Massachusetts, along with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Every therapist will be wearing aprons and gloves that are changed between clients. We will also be wearing masks and eye protection. Before scheduling an appointment, please be sure you are adhering to the MA Travel Restriction.

We are using a new scheduling program which includes online forms and notes. Because of this change in procedure, everyone will need to fill out a new intake form before their first appointment. You will receive a link to complete the form with your appointment confirmation. Please take the time to update your information since we will need it before your next appointment. There will also be links to a Reason for Visit form and a COVID-19 screening that we are asking you to complete in advance of each appointment. If you do not complete these forms before you arrive, you will need to complete the forms in the office which may affect your treatment time.

Arriving for your massage:

  • We ask that you remain outside or in your car and your therapist will come get you
  • Please bring a mask, everyone is required to wear one in the office
  • Your therapist will use a no-touch thermometer to confirm that you do not have a fever
  • No guests are allowed unless they are the legal guardian or caregiver of the client
  • Please do not wear gloves, we will have you use hand sanitizer when you arrive
  • We will ask that your sign a waiver before your first appointment

We are also adjusting our cancellation policy. Although we require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations with no cancellation fee if you start to feel ill please cancel your appointment as soon as possible and we will waive the fee. As it has always been, if you do not cancel and do not arrive for your appointment, you will be expected to pay in full for the service that was scheduled. Also, if you arrive visibly ill and we need to cancel the appointment, you will also be expected to pay for the service in full.

Currently we are suspending some services that we previously offered. We will not be using hot towels, hot stones, or aromatherapy. This is to keep everyone safe and make sure we have enough time to thoroughly clean and disinfect between every client.
